Jack Clark is a retired Major League Baseball player who played for the San Francisco Giants (1975-1984), St. Louis Cardinals (1985-1987), New York Yankees (1988), San Diego Padres (1989-1990) and Boston Red Sox (1991-1992). He was a four-time All-Star - twice each with the Giants and Cardinals - and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner with the Cardinals. He’s a member of the Giants Wall of Fame.

Clark began his professional baseball career in the minors with the Great Falls Giants in 1973. He made his major league debut with the Giants as an outfielder on September 12, 1975. In 1980, Clark was named the recipient of the Willie Mac Award, which is given each season to the team’s most inspirational player. In 1985, Clark was traded to the Cardinals, where he switched positions to first base. In game 6 of the 1985 National League Championship Series, Clark’s three-run homer against the LA Dodgers clinched the NL Pennant for the Cardinals. In 1999, Clark was named manager of the River City Rascals. From 2001-2003, Clark served as the Dodgers’ hitting coach. In 2008, he was manager of the Springfield Sliders. He was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania on November 10, 1955.
