The Las Vegas Raiders play in the National Football League’s AFC West division along with the Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. The Raiders were founded in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL) before it merged with the NFL in 1970.
