The Arizona Cardinals play in the National Football League’s NFC West division along with the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals began play in Chicago as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898 and are the oldest pro football team in the U.S. The team joined the NFL as a charter franchise in 1920. The team moved in St. Louis and played there from 1960-1987 before relocating to Arizona.
