Adrian Dantley Booking Agent Details
Adrian Dantley is a Hall of Fame NBA forward and Olympian who played from 1976-1991. After earning back-to-back consensus first-team All-American honors in 1975 and 1976 while at Notre Dame after leading the Fighting Irish in scoring for both years, he was selected by the Buffalo Braves as the sixth overall pick in the 1976 NBA Draft. That same year, Dantley also won a gold medal in basketball team competition at the Summer Games in Montreal.
Dantley immediately transferred his college success into the NBA, winning Rookie of the Year honors while playing for Buffalo in 1977. Dantley played for the Indiana Pacers in 1977 and the Los Angeles Lakers from 1977-1979 before joining the Utah Jazz in 1979. Dantley thrived during his time with the Jazz and from 1979-1986, he was chosen as an NBA All-Star six times. In 1981 and 1984, he led the league in scoring with 30.7 and 30.6 points per game respectively. For those years he also earned All-NBA second-team honors. Dantley then played for the Detroit Pistons from 1986-1989, averaging 20 points per game. He joined Dallas for two seasons and the Milwaukee Bucks in 1990-1991 before retiring. In total, Dantley averaged 24.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for his career. Utah retired his jersey #4 in 2007 and he was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.
