Madison Bumgarner has pitched for the Arizona Diamondbacks since 2020. He previously spent 11 seasons from 2009 – 2019 playing for the San Francisco Giants. Bumgarner proved invaluable as a starting pitcher for the Giants’ teams that captured World Series titles in 2010, 2012 and 2014. He was four times was named an All-Star from 2013 – 2016 and, during that time, Bumgarner earned N.L. Cy Young Award votes every year, placing in the top five in 2014 and 2016. He also won two Silver Slugger Awards in 2014 and 2015.

Bumgarner made his MLB debut on September 8, 2009. In 2010, he helped the Giants win the World Series after throwing eight scoreless innings in Game 4. He enjoyed a successful 2012 regular season during what would become San Francisco's second World Series title run in three years as he went 16-11 with an ERA of 3.37 while striking out 191 batters. For the 2014 season, he went 18-10 with a 2.98 ERA. Later that fall, Bumgarner produced one of the finest playoff performances by a pitcher in MLB history, starting with a four-hit shutout of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NL Wildcard game.
