Ray Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens from 1996-2012 and helped lead them to victories in Super Bowl XXXV (he was named Super Bowl MVP) and Super Bowl XLVII. He is widely considered to be one of the most dominant defensive players in NFL history. In 2000, he became only the second player in NFL History to be named both Super Bowl MVP and NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was a 12-time Pro Bowl selection, 10-time All-Pro and two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named to the 2000’s All-Decade Team. Lewis was drafted in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft, the second draft pick in Ravens history. He retired after the 2012 NFL season. Lewis played collegiately at the University of Miami, where he was a two-time All-American. Upon retiring from football, Lewis worked as an analyst for Fox Sports and ESPN, including Sunday Night Countdown, Monday Night Countdown and SportsCenter. He also worked on ESPN’s annual Super Bowl coverage through 2016. In 2018, Lewis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
