Lisa Leslie is a former WNBA player and Olympic gold medalist and is considered one of the greatest female basketball players of all-time. She was selected as the seventh overall pick in the WNBA”s inaugural draft in 1997 and went on to play for the Los Angeles Sparks from 1997-2009, winning back-to-back WNBA championships in 2001 and 2002 and being named Finals MVP both years. She was a three-time WNBA MVP (2001, 2004 & 2006), eight-time WNBA All-Star (1999-2003, 2005, 2006 & 2009) and three-time WNBA All-Star Game MVP (1999, 2001 & 2002)

Leslie never averaged less than 15 points per game in her professional career and finished her playing days with a 17.3 PPG average over 12 years and 363 games. A highly-decorated Olympian, Leslie also won four gold medals with Team USA at the 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. In 2001, fans voted Leslie one of the top 15 players in WNBA history. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

Leslie was highly recruited out of high school and played collegiately for Southern California from 1990-94, where she averaged 20.1 points per game. She was named All-Pac 10 each of her four years and set conference records for scoring, blocked shots and rebounding. She also holds the USC record for blocked shots in a season with 95. In 1994, she received a host of honors, including being named the Naismith College Player of the Year.
