Brian Bosworth, affectionately known as “The Boz”, was one of the most outspoken and colorful football personalities of his time. He played collegiately at the University of Oklahoma and was a two-time Butkus Award winner, two-time unanimous All-American, three-time All-Big Eight and an integral part of the Sooners 1985 National Champion team. In 2015, Bosworth was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. After college, Bosworth was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1987 NFL supplemental draft but was forced to retire after just two seasons due to a shoulder injury. In 2014, Bosworth was the subject of an ESPN “30 for 30” documentary called “Brian and The Boz”, which chronicled his rise and fall as an athlete.

Upon retirement, “The Boz” took his talents to Hollywood, where he appeared in several films including “Stone Cold” in 1991, “The Longest Yard” in 1995 and the Christian films “Revelation Road” and “Revelation Road 2” in 2013. While filming “Revelation Road” Bosworth, whose character was filled with anger and rage, experienced a personal transformation that enabled him to come to terms with the anger and hurt that came about as a result of his relationship with his deceased father and how that impacted his relationship with God. In 2015, Bosworth was featured on the Christian Broadcast Network’s 700 Club. Today, Bosworth travels the country speaking to organizations about his faith and relationship with Christ.
