Will Perdue is a former NBA center whose career spanned from 1988-2001, most notably with the Chicago Bulls (1988-1995, 1999-2000) and also the San Antonio Spurs (1995-1999) and Portland Trail Blazers (2000-2001). Perdue played an important role for the Bulls as the team steadily advanced further into the playoffs each year in the late 1980s, leading up to three consecutive NBA Finals victories from 1991-1993 on teams that featured the likes of Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. After playing a reserve role for Chicago during his first six seasons with the team, Perdue in 1994-1995 started 78 games for the Bulls, averaging a career-best 8.0 points per game in addition to 6.7 rebounds.
Perdue joined the Spurs ahead of the 1995-1996 campaign, and the following season, he set career-bests in points (8.7) and rebounds (9.8) per game. He won his fourth NBA title in 1999 with San Antonio. During his 14-year career, Perdue averaged 4.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. A 1st round selection by Chicago in the 1988 NBA Draft, Perdue played college basketball at Vanderbilt, where he won SEC Athlete of the Year and SEC Player of the Year honors as a senior. He was also a third-team All-American. After retiring, Perdue launched a successful broadcast career working as an analyst for Bulls games on NBC Sports Chicago and for college basketball games on Westwood One.
