Sony Michel is a former NFL running back who played from 2018-2023 with the New England Patriots (2018-2020), Los Angeles Rams (2021), Miami Dolphins (2022) and Los Angeles Chargers (2022). Over his five-year career, he rushed for 3,243 yards and 18 touchdowns, catching 56 passes for 439 yards and two scores. As a rookie in 2018, Michel played 13 games for New England, rushing 209 times for 931 yards and six touchdowns. He helped the Patriots to victory in Super Bowl LIII with a big game, running for 94 yards and a score. With Los Angeles in 2021, Michel became a two-time Super Bowl champion as the Rams triumphed in Super Bowl LVI. For the year, Michel rushed 208 times for 845 yards and four touchdowns.

Michel played four seasons collegiately at the University of Georgia from 2014-2017, rushing 590 times for 3,613 yards and 33 touchdowns. He was a 1,000-yard rusher for the Bulldogs in 2015 and 2017, helping Georgia to the College Football Playoff National Championship game as a senior while winning Rose Bowl MVP honors. That regular season, he set career-bests with 16 touchdowns and 1,227 rushing yards. The Patriots selected him 31st overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
