Harrison played in San Diego through the 2002 season, earning two trips to the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 2001. Signing with the Patriots in 2003, Harrison made an immediate impact. He recorded interceptions in the 2003 divisional playoff game vs. Tennessee and picked off Peyton Manning in the AFC Championship, sending the Patriots to Super Bowl XXXVIII, which they won. The Patriots returned to the Super Bowl in 2005, defeating the Eagles, 24-21, behind two interceptions from Harrison. He played in one more championship in 2007, but the Patriots lost to the New York Giants, 17-14. Harrison retired following the 2008 season. He holds NFL records for sacks by a defensive back while his seven playoff interceptions are a New England Patriots franchise best. After retiring, Harrison has remained active as a NBC Sports broadcaster for NFL games.
