Kurt Busch is a stock car driver who first competed on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2000 (previously known as the Nextel Cup Series). He has over 30 wins, including the Daytona 500 (2017), Coca-Cola 600 (2010), NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race (2010), Budweiser Shootout (2011) and IROC (2003). He was the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion in 2004. Over the course of his career, Busch has driven cars for Furniture Row Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Phoenix Racing, Penske Racing, Roush Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing.

Busch has also competed on the Xfinity Series (previously known as the Busch Series) and Gander Outdoors Truck Series (previously known as the Craftsman Truck Series). He was named Rookie of the Year for the Truck Series in 2000. Additionally, Busch raced in the 2014 Indianapolis 500 for Andretti Autosport and finished sixth. He was named the Indy 500 Rookie of the Year as a result of his finish.

Busch was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and began driving go-karts at six years old. In his first full year of driving Dwarf cars in 1994, Busch won 10 straight races. He is the older brother of fellow NASCAR driver Kurt Busch and his father Tom also recorded several wins at NASCAR-sanctioned races.
