Dave Krieg signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 1980 as an undrafted free agent and went on to play quarterback for 19 seasons in the NFL from 1980-1998 for the Seahawks (1980-91), Kansas City Chiefs (1992-93), Detroit Lions (1994), Arizona Cardinals (1995), Chicago Bears (1996) and Tennessee Titans (1997-98). He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection in 1984, 1988 and 1989 and was inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 2004.

One of the most prolific passers in league history, Krieg ranks in the top 20 all-time in passing yards (38,147), touchdown passes (261) and wins by a starting quarterback (98). He also holds numerous Seahawks career records, including career touchdown passes and touchdown percentage.

Krieg played collegiately at Milton, a now-defunct private NAIA college in Milton, Wisconsin, and began his college career as the 7th string quarterback. He played in the 4th game of his first year and went on to start the remainder of his college career.
