Considered one of the most dominating offensive lineman in the history of the NFL, Anthony Munoz spent his entire 13-year career from 1980-1992 playing for the Cincinnati Bengals. Munoz played at a high-level during his entire career, starting 182 out of 185 games, making 11 Pro Bowls and being named a First-Team All-Pro 9 times. He anchored the Bengals’ offensive line in Super Bowls XVI and XXIII and was four times recognized as the NFL Offensive Lineman of the Year by the NFL Alumni Association.

In 2010, Munoz was ranked by the NFL Network #12 on its list of The Top 100: NFL’s Greatest Players. He was additionally recognized for his great play by being named a member of the NFL 1980s All-Decade team and to both the league’s 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time teams. Munoz became a member in 1998 of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Born on August 19, 1958 in Ontario, California, Munoz played college football at USC, where he won a national championship in 1978. He was picked by the Bengals in the 1980 NFL Draft (1st round, 3rd overall). Off the field, Munoz established the Anthony Munoz Foundation in 2002. In 2015, he was honored by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute with the Medallion of Excellence.
