Bret Boone Booking Agent Details

Bret Boone is a retired second baseman who played in the Major Leagues for 14 seasons from 1992 – 2005. He enjoyed his most productive season with the Seattle Mariners but also played for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins. Boone was a three-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger Award winner and four-time Gold Glove Award winner.

In 1992, Boone became the first-ever third generation player in MLB history. He is the son of Bob, a catcher who played in the Majors from 1972-90 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals and later served as the manager with the Royals and Cincinnati Reds; his brother Aaron played third base for the Reds, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros and Miami Marlins and is currently the manager of the Yankees. Boone’s grandfather Ray was an infielder from 1948-60 for the Indians, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Braves, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Athletics.

Boone’s most productive season came in 2001 with the Mariners when he was an All-Star Game starter, won a Silver Slugger Award and finished third in American League MVP voting. The Mariners led the Majors with a record 116 wins, which tied the all-time record with the 1906 Chicago Cubs for wins in a season, clinched the AL West title and advanced to the ALCS. Boone also broke the Mariners\' franchise record of home runs by a second baseman with 37 while also tallying 37 doubles. In 1,780 games, Boone finished his career with a .266 batting average, including 252 home runs and 1,021 RBI.
