Robbie Gould played 18 seasons in the NFL as a kicker, primarily with the Chicago Bears (2005-2015) and San Francisco 49ers (2017-2022). He also played for the New York Giants in 2016. Gould made 86.5% of his career field goal attempts (447 for 517). He owns the NFL record for highest percentage (100%) of postseason kicks made, having nailed 29 of 29 tries in 16 playoff games. A member of the 100 Greatest Bears of All-Time list, Gould is Chicago’s all-time leading scorer (1,207 points) and owns several other franchise records, including made field goals (276), field goals of 50-plus yards (23) and make rate (85.4%).

Similarly, Gould owns the 49ers franchise record for consecutive field goals made (33) and single-season conversion rate, having hit 97.1% (33 of 34) of his tries for the 2018 season. In 2006, his second season in the NFL, Gould led the league with 32 field goals, hitting 88.9% of his attempts on the year, earning a Pro Bowl selection and First-Team All-Pro honors. With San Francisco, he later led the NFL in field goals made a second time, kicking 39 in 2017. Gould played college football at Penn State from 2001-2004. After retirement, Gould served as a high school head coach for Rolling Meadows High School and Saint Viator Hight School, both in Illinois.
