Mike Tyson is a retired American boxer who competed from 1985-2005. At 5-foot-10 and with a reach of 71 inches, Tyson holds a career record of 50-6 with 44 wins coming by KO. At a little over 20 years and 4 months old, Tyson defeated Trevor Berbick in 1986 in the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship to became the youngest competitor to win such a title, a record that still stands. After defeating Tony Tucker and James Smith in 1987, Tyson became the first heavyweight boxer to hold the WBA, IBF and WBC titles at the same time.

Tyson competed in some of the most memorable boxing matches of the 1980s and 1990s, taking on opponents such as Larry Holmes, Frank Bruno, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield. Tyson is one of five men to have lost a heavyweight title only to reclaim it. Among the others include Floyd Patterson and Muhammad Ali. Having successfully defended his heavyweight title eight consecutive times, Tyson owns the third-longest unified championship reign. Tyson retired in 2006. He is a member of both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

After his boxing career ended, Tyson appeared in television shows and movies, including a role playing a fictionalized character of himself in The Hangover. In 2012, he took his one-man show, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, to Broadway and later on a three month, 36-city national tour. He also wrote a New York Times bestselling book called Undisputed Truth.
