Kenny Smith Booking Agent Details
Kenny Smith is a former NBA point guard who played from 1987-1997, mainly for the Houston Rockets with whom he won two NBA Championships in 1994 and 1995. Smith played collegiately at North Carolina from 1983-87, where he helped lead the Tar Heels to a 115-22 record during those years. The Sacramento Kings selected him sixth overall in the 1987 draft and he played for them midway through the 1990 season before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks. Smith was traded again before the end of 1990 to Houston, where he’d spend the majority of his career. Immediately, he made an impact, leading the team in assists per game and helping the Rockets to a then franchise-best 52 regular season wins. The Rockets made the postseason in all but one year that Smith was on the team, and in 57 playoff games, he averaged 11.7 points.

Smith played for Detroit, Orlando and Denver all within the 1996-97 season before retiring. He finished his NBA career with a 12.8 points per game average. He has worked as a broadcaster since 1998, working at Turner Sports as a studio analyst and alongside Ernie Johnson, Jr., Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA, which won a Sports Emmy Award in 2001.
