Jerry Kramer is a former NFL offensive lineman who played his entire 11-year career from 1958-1968 with the Green Bay Packers. Kramer was an integral part to Green Bay’s victories in Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II in 1967 and 1968, which was at that time a championship game between the competing NFL and AFL.

Before the two leagues merged, he won a further five NFL championships with the Packers (1961, 1962, 1965-1967) in the span of eight years. Kramer earned five first-team All-Pro honors in 1960, 1962, 1963, 1966 and 1967 while he was named second-team All-Pro in 1961 and 1968. In 2018, he became a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Kramer is also a member of the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team, NFL 50th Anniversary All-Time Team as well as the Packers Hall of Fame.

Kramer was a starring member of one of the most memorable plays in NFL history. In the 1967 NFL Championship Game between Green Bay and Dallas, played at Lambeau Field and dubbed the “Ice Bowl” due to temperatures with windchill that day that approached -50 degrees Fahrenheit, he made a critical goal line block with 13 seconds left in the game, allowing Packers quarterback Bart Starr to rush into the endzone for the game-winning score. Kramer retired after the 1968 season and worked as a CBS analyst for NFL games. He is the author of several sports books.
