Henrik Lundqvist is a former NHL goaltender who played the entirety of his career from 2005-2020 with the New York Rangers. Lundqvist won 459 career NHL games with a 2.43 goals-against average, .918 save percentage and 64 shutouts. In 2023, he was inducted into the National Hockey Hall of Fame.

Lundqvist holds several Rangers franchise records, including wins by a goalie (459), playoff wins (61) and consecutive games played (985). He is also the winningest European goaltender in NHL history. Internationally, Lundqvist represented Sweden from 2000-2019 at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, as well as five World Championships and the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

In 2011-2012, Lundqvist went 39-18-5 with a 1.97 GAA and .930 save percentage, leading the Rangers to the most points in the Eastern Conference and winning the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s best goalie. That season, he also finished as a Hart Trophy candidate as well as for the Ted Lindsay Award, which recognizes the NHL’s best player during the regular season. He was a five-time NHL All-Star (2009, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2019) and was New York’s team MVP on 10 occasions (2007-2013, 2016, 2018). Following his playing days, Lundqvist worked as a studio analyst for the Rangers and TNT.
