Fletcher Cox spent his entire NFL career that spanned 12 seasons from 2012 – 2023 as a defensive tackle with the Philadelphia Eagles. Cox was a six-time Pro Bowl pick and four-time All-Pro selection, including a first team All-Pro in 2018. He anchored a defense that helped Philadelphia defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, 41 – 33.

In 2017, Cox was ranked by his peers at No. 38 on the NFL Top 100 Players list. In 2019, he was ranked No. 28. Named a member of the NFL's 2010s All-Decade team, Cox finished his career with 70 sacks, 173 quarterback hits, 519 tackles, 16 forced fumbles and 14 fumbles recoveries. He ranks fifth all-time on the Eagles' sacks list. He announced his retirement on March 10, 2024.

Cox was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after being picked by the Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft (1st round) out of Mississippi State, where he was a first-team All-American and first-team All-SEC pick in 2011 after recording 103 tackles, 11 quarterback sacks and 2 interceptions. Cox was born on December 13, 1990 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He attended Yazoo City High School, where he also competed in track and basketball.
