Brett Hull is a retired right winger who played for the Calgary Flames (1986-1988), St. Louis Blues (1987-1998), Dallas Stars (1998-2001), Detroit Red Wings (2001-2004) and Phoenix Coyotes (2005-2006). Hull was part of two Stanley Cup winning teams – the Stars in 1999 and Red Wings in 2002. Hull recorded at least 50 goals in five straight seasons. In 1990-1991, he recorded 86 goals, the third most for a single season in league history. Hull made eight All-Star Game appearances and was a three-time first-team All-Star. He also won the Hart Memorial Trophy and Lester B. Pearson Award.
Additionally, Hull competed internationally and was a member of the U.S. team that won the World Cup of Hockey in 1996 and silver medal at the 2002 Winter Games. In 2017, Hull was named by the NHL as one of the “100 Greatest Players” ever. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, joining his dad Bobby Hull in becoming the first-ever father-son duo in the Hall. Upon retirement, Hull worked in the front office of the Stars before being hired by the Blues as executive vice president. Hull is also an avid golfer and participates in various charity and celebrity tournaments.
