  • Mike Matheny to be Keynote Speaker at Arrow Leadership and Success Summit

    CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. — St. Louis Cardinals manager, Mike Matheny, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Arrow Leadership and Success Summit, the high point of the Arrow Leadership and Success Series, which is new to the publication this year. The summit will held at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Show Me Center. The Show Me Center is a multi-purpose arena, located on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University, in Cape Girardeau, MO.   • Coach Bill Self Gives Keynote Speech at the 2nd Annual Roos Basketball Tip-Off Dinner

    KANSAS CITY, KS. — Kansas University Jayhawks basketball coach Bill Self was the keynote speaker at the 2nd annual Roos Basketball Tip-Off Dinner on Sept. 30.   • NFL Quarterback and BYU Graduate Jim McMahon Has #9 Jersey Retired by BYU

    BYU graduate and NFL quarterback, Jim McMahon, became an official member of Brigham Young University’s Athletic Hall of Fame this week. McMahon’s jersey #9 was retired at the game on Oct. 3, 2014. McMahon is the sixth former BYU football player to have his number retired, following Eldon Fortie, Marion Probert, Steve Young, Gifford Nielsen and Ty Detmer.

Former New York Yankees great Lou Piniella, Bears running back Gale Sayers were also on hand to sign autographs.
