CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Touchdown Club presented its annual luncheon on Friday June 19, where former Washington quarterback, Joe Theismann, was the guest speaker. For over an hour, Theismann spoke about his football career and his relationship with former coach Joe Gibbs, who introduced him to the crowd. PITTSBURGH, PA. — On Saturday, June 6, 2015, six Hall of Fame quarterbacks Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, George Blanda and Johnny Unitas, were honored at an event called Gridiron Gold at the Wyndham Grand. Western PA is known for the large number of NFL players that have come from the area. Since 1953, there have been 23 total quarterbacks inducted into the Hall of Fame.
