Three-Time Super Bowl Champ Matt Light Was Keynote Speaker at Framingham, MA All Star Banquet

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Retired Patriots offensive tackle and three-time Super Bowl Champion Matt Light was the keynote speaker on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at a Framingham, MA All Star Banquet to honor local standout student athletes. Matt Light delivered the keynote address in which he spoke about his experience as a student athlete as well as his college days at Purdue University. According to the MetroWest Daily News article, the first ever All Star banquet was in honor of 144 student athletes who attended with their families:

“For 144 student athletes and their families, the MetroWest Daily News and Milford Daily news held their first-ever All Star banquet presented by Hood, honoring athletes from the fall season.”

Matt Light is a former NFL offensive tackle who spent his entire 11 year career playing for the New England Patriots from 2001 through 2011. Light is a three-time Super Bowl winner for Super Bowls XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX plus he is a three-time Pro Bowl selection for 2006, 2007 and 2010 and a First-team All-Pro for 2007. Light has also been awarded the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award for 2010 as well as the Tuesday Morning Quarterback NFL MVP Award for a Non-Quarterback and Non-Running Back for 2007.
