NAGOYA, Japan – Looks like Tiger Woods is still in demand as a pitchman. Woods was recently hired Kowa Company Ltd to endorse a Japanese heat rub used to relieve muscle and joint pain.

L.A. Dodgers File for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

The Los Angeles Dodgers filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in Delaware Monday, blaming Major League Baseball for refusing to approve a multibillion-dollar TV deal that owner Frank McCourt was counting on to keep the troubled team afloat.

Shaq Announces Retirement on Twitter (Video)

After 19 seasons in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal announced via Twitter that he is retiring.

“We did it. 19 years baby. I want to thank you very much,” O’Neal said in a video posted on his Twitter account. “That’s why I’m telling you first. I’m about to retire. Love you. Talk to you soon.”

O’Neal won three NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers and one with the Miami Heat. He also played for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.
