    TAMPA, FL — Former MLB manager, Tony LaRussa, was named the keynote speaker on December 18, 2014 at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Great Futures Breakfast held at the Amalie Arena in Tampa. LaRussa spoke of his youth spent at the Boys and Girls Clubs, and how much it benefited his life. He also spoke with 10 News Sports Anchor Dave Wirth about Kevin Cash, the new manager of the Tampa Bay Rays, and the latest in the line of Tampa-born MLB managers.The benefit raised over $700,000 for clubs.   • Will Jim Harbaugh Leave NFL for $49M Michigan Deal?

    The University of Michigan has just upped the ante to acquire Jim Harbaugh. According to multiple reports, Michigan has made a six-year, $49 million offer to Harbaugh. The offer was earlier reported by CBS5 in Arizona. The annual average pay of $8.17 million would make Harbaugh the highest-paid college football coach, surpassing Alabama’s Nick Saban by more than $1.21 million. Source: ESPN. (more…)

    LEHIGH VALLEY, PA. — Former Baltimore Orioles pitcher, Jim Palmer, was named the keynote speaker on November 26, 2014 at the 17th annual LifePath & Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (PICPA) Thanksgiving Benefit and Awards Luncheon. Palmer spoke to a crowd of over 600 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Fogelsville where he entertained the crowd with “Boys of Summer Stories.” All proceeds will go to LifePath’s programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
