Raymond Floyd is a retired professional golfer who won four major golf tournaments - the Masters (1976), PGA Championship (1969, 1982) and US Open (1986). At the 1976 Masters, he led the tournament wire-to-wire and won by eight shots. Over the course of his career, Floyd won 62 golf tournaments worldwide and more than $17 million in prize money. He won 22 PGA Tour events and, along with Sam Snead, is the only person to win golf tournaments over four different decades.

He also excelled on the PGA Tour Champions, where he won 14 events between 1992-2000, including four senior major tournaments. He’s the only person to win on both the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions in the same year. Floyd started playing professionally in 1961 and notched his first PGA Tour win in 1963 at the St. Petersburg Open Invitational. In 1983, Floyd won both the Vardon Trophy for the PGA Tour’s lowest scoring average and Byron Nelson Award for the year’s lowest adjusted scoring average. Additionally, Floyd played on eight Ryder Cup teams and served as captain in 1989 and assistant captain in 2008. In 1989, he became a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
