Dan Marino Booking Agent Details

One of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Dan Marino spent his entire 17-year career from 1983-1999 playing with the Miami Dolphins after being picked by the team in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft. The 9-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro was named the Sporting News’ NFL Rookie of the Year in 1983 and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1984. He led the Dolphins to the postseason 10 times and when he retired in 2000, Marino was the holder of more than 40 NFL career and single season career passing records, including career passing yards (61,361) and career passing touchdowns (420).

Marino became the first quarterback in league history to reach the 50,000 and 60,000 yards passing plateau in a career and was also the first to throw for 400 touchdowns. He led the league in passing yards five times and passing touchdowns three times. The Dolphins retired his jersey #13 in 2000 (he’s one of just three players to be so honored along with Bob Griese and Larry Csonka) and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. Marino was recognized as one of the top 10 quarterback in NFL history when he was named by the league to its 100 All-Time Team in 2019, joining such greats as Tom Brady, Brett Favre, John Elway, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana and Roger Staubach.

Born on September 15, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Marino played college football at the University of Pittsburgh from 1979-1982. He was named a first-team All-American in 1981 and the Panthers retired his jersey in 1982. He became a member of the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003. In the community, Marino and his wife started the Dan Marino Foundation in 1992 after their son’s autism diagnosis and has given over $30 million to help fund the Marino Autism Research Institute and Miami Children’s Hospital Dan Marino Center. He was a two-time recipient of the Dolphins’ Community Service Award in 1996 and 1998 and was also named by the NFL as its Man of the Year in 1998. Off the field, Marino has enjoyed a successful business career since retiring. From 2002-2013, he worked as an NFL analyst for CBS Sports’ The NFL Today and from 2002-2007, he appeared on HBO’s Inside the NFL. His numerous business ventures have included co-owning a NASCAR team and investing in real estate and restaurants.
