WHEATON, IL — Benedictine University recently hosted their 20th Annual President’s Invitational Golf Outing with golf legend Lee Trevino and CBS Sports analyst Gary McCord who were this year’s featured celebrities. The event took place on Monday July 28 at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton where area golfers had the opportunity to meet golf’s greatest and play a championship course all while contributing to a good cause. Dwyane Wade Signs New Contract with Miami Heat

MIAMI, Fla. — Looks like Dwyane Wade is staying with the Miami Heat. According to Yahoo Sports, to cite sources, Wade signed a new contract with the Heat on Tuesday, July 15. It’s a two-year deal, the second of those seasons a player option, said a person familiar with the situation. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because neither side announced terms. Financial terms were not announced, though it’s expected Wade’s salary for next season will not reach the $20.2 million he would have made under his previous contract.
