Phil Simms to Speak at University of Louisville Sports Event

LOUISVILLE, KY. — Former New York Giants QB, Phil Simms, has been named the guest speaker at the U of L Conversations With Champions event to be held on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in Comstock Hall on U of L’s Belknap Campus. Simms speech will address how mentors helped him develop leadership skills as well as how he has handled the pressures that come with being an NFL quarterback and television sports analyst. Bruce Weber to Speak at Inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer Coaching Clinic in St. Louis

NFL Greats Andre Reed, Michael Strahan, Ray Guy Among Seven Players Inducted into NFL Hall of Fame

CANTON, OH. — Seven NFL legends including former NY Giants Michael Strahan, Buffalo Bills Andre Reed, defensive end Claude Humphrey, two first-time ballot selections, Tampa Bay linebacker Derrick Brooks and Seattle offensive tackle Walter Jones were inducted on Saturday, Aug 2 into the NFL Hall of Fame. WHEATON, IL — Benedictine University recently hosted their 20th Annual President’s Invitational Golf Outing with golf legend Lee Trevino and CBS Sports analyst Gary McCord who were this year’s featured celebrities. The event took place on Monday July 28 at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton where area golfers had the opportunity to meet golf’s greatest and play a championship course all while contributing to a good cause.
