Bill Walton to be Keynote Speaker at 2015 KidWorks Fundraiser

ORANGE COUNTY, CA. — Former NBA star Bill Walton will be the keynote speaker at this year’s KidWorks’ 2015 Foundation for Success fundraising luncheon. The event takes on Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Santa Ana/Orange County Airport. Event sponsorships are available from $2,500 up to $50,000. Individual and corporate donations at any level are welcomed. WAYNE, PA — Villanova basketball coach Jay Wright was the guest speaker on Oct. 7 in the “HomeGrown – Lectures, Learning, Locally” series at the Wayne Art Center. Wright’s Wildcats were only 1 out of 9 teams to have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 10 of the last 11 seasons, but Wright is most proud of the fact that every Villanova player who has spent four years in the program has earned his degree – on time.
