Tom Thayer is a retired professional football guard who played for the USFL and the NFL for the Chicago Blitz in 1983, the Arizona Wranglers in 1984, the Arizona Outlaws in 1985, the Chicago Bears from 1985–1992 and the Miami Dolphins in 1993. Thayer is a Super Bowl champion for Super Bowl XX. After his playing career Thayer became a sports broadcaster and currently serves as color commentator for Bears’ radio broadcasts.
