HOPKINS, MN – Meet 1980 Olympics U.S.A. hockey team winner Neal Broten at the Fan HQ Sports Apparel and Collectibles autograph signing in Hopkins, MN on Saturday, April 8, 2017. At the event will be the entire group of 12 players from Minnesota who were on the “Miracle on Ice” hockey team. There will be two signing groups at the event: Signing Group 1 and Signing Group 2. Neal Broten is in Signing Group 2 and will make an appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to meet and greet fans and sign autographs and memorabilia.

Neal Broten is retired NHL hockey player who played from 1980–1997. During his NHL career he played for the Minnesota North Stars, the Dallas Stars, the New Jersey Devils and the Los Angeles Kings. Broten won a Gold Medal in 1980 for the XIII Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid plus he is a two-time NHL All Star for 1983 and 1986. Broten is a Stanley Cup champion for 1995 when he played for the the New Jersey Devils plus he also won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award for 1981 as well as the Lester Patrick Trophy for 1998. Broten was inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000.
