Rob Ninkovich is a former NFL outside linebacker who enjoyed an 11-year professional career with the New Orleans Saints (2006, 2008), Miami Dolphins (2007-2008) and, most notably, the New England Patriots (2009-2016). From 2012-2014, Ninkovich recorded eight sacks every season and, from 2010-2015, he failed to miss a single game for the Patriots. In total during his 10-year career, Ninkovich recorded 460 tackles and notched 46 sacks.

Ninkovich played in three Super Bowls with New England, helping the Patriots capture two (Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI). With New England playing Seattle in Super Bowl XLIX to cap the 2014 season, Ninkovich recorded a sack and six tackles in the Patriots’ 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He would go out a champion as New England won Super Bowl LI over Atlanta in his final NFL season.

Ninkovich won a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national title while playing at Joliet Junior College in 2002. He transferred to Purdue in 2004 and, as a senior in 2005, earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors. New Orleans selected him in the 5th round of the 2006 draft. After his playing days ended, Ninkovich worked in broadcasting as an NFL analyst for ESPN.
