Kevin Faulk played running back in the National Football League from 1999 – 2011 for the New England Patriots. Faulk won three Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXXVIII & XXXIX), is a member of the Patriots Hall of Fame and was named to the team’s 50th Anniversary Team.

Faulk was picked in the 2nd round of the 1999 draft by the Patriots out of LSU, where he was the 1995 SEC Freshman of the Year and was three times named All-SEC. During his sophomore year in 1996, Faulk ran for 1,282 yards with 13 touchdowns and was named an Associated Press All-American. In total for his college career, Faulk amassed 4,557 yards on the ground, which trails only Herschel Walker of the University of Georgia in the history of the SEC. His total all-purpose yards of 6,833 was first all-time in the SEC until Tim Tebow of the University of Florida broke the mark in 2009.

Faulk was born on June 5, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana and went to high school at Carencro High School, where he won a Louisiana state football title in 1992. He was named a high school All-American and two times was named the state’s Class 5A MVP. Since retiring from playing in 2012, Faulk has spent time working in broadcasting for NESN and WEEI-FM.
