John Harbaugh has served as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens since 2008 and is the winningest coach in team history. On February 3, 2013, Harbaugh led the Ravens to a 34-31 victory in Super Bowl XLVII over the San Francisco 49ers.

In 2011, Harbaugh coached the Ravens to a 12-4 regular season record and a spot in the AFC Championship game against the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots as Baltimore won its first AFC North title under him. The next season, the Ravens sat at 10-6 and again finished atop the AFC North. They played the Patriots in a rematch of the previous year’s AFC Championship and this time beat New England, earning a spot in Super Bowl XLVII against the 49ers, who were coached by his brother Jim Harbaugh. The Ravens won their third AFC North title under Harbaugh in 2018 with a record of 10-6 and fourth title in 2019 with a record of 14-2. The latter year he was named by Pro Football Writers of America as Coach of the Year.

Previously, Harbaugh coached running backs and outside linebackers at Western Michigan (1984-1987), tight ends at Pittsburgh (1987), special teams and defensive backs at Morehead State (1988), special teams at Cincinnati (1989-1996), special teams and defensive backs at Indiana (1997) and special teams and defensive backs with the Philadelphia Eagles (1998-2007). Harbaugh was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 23, 1962 and played college football at Miami University. Harbaugh’s father, Jack, served as a college football coach for over 40 years.
