World Series Champ Jason Varitek to Make Appearance at Boston, MA Charity Gala Event – Nov 3


BOSTON, MA – World Series champion Jason Varitek will make an appearance at the Pedro Martinez Charity Gala in Boston, MA on Friday, November 3rd, 2017. The purpose of the fundraiser will be to help raise money for the relief effort for people affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean. Jason Varitek will make an appearance from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to dine with guests at the special gala dinner. According to the Eventbrite article, tickets to the event range from $250 to $2000 and proceeds are to help thousands of children plus the people affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria:

Jason Varitek is a former MLB catcher who played for the Boston Red Sox from 1997–2011. Varitek is a two-time World Series champion for 2004 and 2007 plus he is a three-time All-Star for 2003, 2005 and 2008. In 2005 Varitek was the Gold Glove Award winner plus Silver Slugger Award winner. In 1994 Varitek was the Golden Spikes Award winner plus the Dick Howser Trophy winner. Jason Varitek was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2016.
