“It’s important for us to gather together with someone who has the same morals and values as you do,” said event organizer, Keela Hill. “It’s just important to get together in fellowship with them and to build relationships with people who have the same values as you do.”

Bailey spoke to hundreds who gathered at the event. “What a fantastic group of young people, to be able to share my journey,” the former NBA star said. “Obviously, mine included basketball and trying to figure out what I had a passion for in my life, and it’s the same with these young people. Once you find that passion, don’t be deterred from it.”
