  • Joe Torre Honors Andy Pettitte at Safe at Home Event

    NEW YORK — Former Yankees manager, Joe Torre, was joined by MLB greats David Cone, Bernie Williams and John Franco on Nov. 13, 2014 to honor former Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte for the 12th anniversary of the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, which was founded in 2002 by Ali and Joe Torre in response to the impact that domestic violence had on Joe Torre and his family.   • Karl Mecklenburg Reviews Denver Broncos Film with Military at Appreciation Event

    DENVER, CO. — Former Bronco’s pro linebacker Karl Mecklenburg, along with former Denver placekicker David Treadwell, sat down with approximately 20 active duty military members and their guests on Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014 for a military appreciation film session in the Broncos’ Fan Cave.   • San Francisco Giants Second Baseman Joe Panik Speaks with Fans and Signs Autographs at Macys: VIDEO

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA. — San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik appeared at noon on Saturday Nov. 1 at Macys in Union Square to meet fans and sign autographs, one day after the World Series Victory parade. Hundreds of customers turned out during the event in the men’s store. Panik said he never imagined he’d win a World Series ring his rookie year. He hopes he’ll win another one soon!   • 12-Time Pro Bowler Champ Bailey Retires

    Twelve time Pro Bowler  Champ Bailey has decided to retire from the NFL, putting an end to a long and illustrious career. The 36-year-old cornerback spent most of his 15-season career with the Denver Broncos, but after being released by the Broncos at the end of last season and being cut by the New Orleans Saints this season due to a foot injury, Bailey decided to move on to pursue other career opportunities.   • Pro Football Hall of Famer Walter Jones Becomes 11th Member of Seattle Seahawks’ Ring of Honor

    SEATTLE, WA. — On Sunday Nov. 2, 2014, Pro Football Hall of Famer, Walter Jones, became the 11th member of the Seahawks’ Ring of Honor during the halftime ceremony of the team’s game against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field. Jones becomes the 11th member of the Ring of Honor, joining Steve Largent (1989), Jim Zorn (1991), Dave Brown (1992), Pete Gross (1992), Curt Warner (1994), Jacob Green (1995), Kenny Easley (2002), Dave Krieg (2004), Chuck Knox (2005) and Kennedy (2006).
