Magic Johnson to be Keynote Speaker for Cuyahoga Community College Scholarship

CLEVELAND, OH — Basketball legend, Earvin Magic Johnson, will be the keynote speaker at Cuyahoga Community College Foundation’s Presidential Scholarship Luncheon. The event is at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel. Source:
Since its inception in 1992, the luncheon has raised more than $15 million to help Tri-C students. More than 1,100 community and business leaders pack the ballroom. In recent years, the cost to attend has ranged from $1,000 for a seat to $25,000 or more for a table of 10.
Past Tri-C keynote speakers include Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
