  • MLB Legend Bobby Valentine Named Keynote Speaker at Knights of St. Patrick Banquet

    NEW HAVEN, CT. — Former Boston Red Sox Manager Bobby Valentine has been named the keynote speaker at the 136th Annual Banquet of the Knights of St. Patrick beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m. on March 17 at the New Haven Lawn Club, located at 193 Whitney Ave. The event will continue with dinner followed by Valentines speech.

  • Coach Pete Carroll Returns to USC to Speak About His Success with the Seattle Seahawks: VIDEO

    LOS ANGELES, CA. — Seattle Seahawks coach, Pete Carroll, recently returned to USC on Wednesday evening, February 26, to speak with students on his Win Forever philosophy and about his success with the Seahawks. He spoke about his time at USC, the Seahawks championship run, and USC’s new coach Steve Sarkisian. Carroll also spoke out against the NCAA and the sanctions imposed on USC.

  • Ray Lewis Named Featured Speaker at this Year’s LSU Football Coaches Clinic

    BATON ROUGE, LA — Retired Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, has been named the featured speaker at at this year’s LSU Football Coaches Clinic. Along with Lewis, New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan, will also be a guest speaker at the clinic. The event will be held at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on March 27-29. Ryan will take the podium Thursday, March 27 at 7:15 p.m. and Lewis will speak Friday, March 28 at 11:45 a.m. Former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis will be the featured speaker at the 2014 LSU Football Coaches Clinic on March 27-29, 2014.     CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills legend, Andre Reed, will hold his first post-Hall of Fame vote autograph signing event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles, at 794 French Road in Cheektowaga, N.Y.. Individuals can drop off their memorabilia in advance if they are unable to make the event.

  • Tim Brown Named Keynote Speaker at HSU Sports Fundraiser

    ARCATA, CA. — Former Oakland Raiders, Tim Brown, has been named the keynote speaker at the 29th Annual Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 29, at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. Don and Carolyn Johnson will be the honored guests this year. Guest speakers in the past have included Rick Barry, Jim Harbaugh, Misty May Traenor, Joe Frazier and Steve Young.

  • Rudy Ruettiger To Be Guest Speaker at Nursing Facilty

    PLANTSVILLE CT. — Notre Dame football legend, Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger, will be the featured speaker at The Summit At Plantsville, a skill nursing facility that offers both short-term rehabilitation and long term care. The event entitled “Rudy” will take place on April 4 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.

  • Gene Stallings is Keynote Speaker at Sam B. Hall Jr. Banquet

    MARSHALL, TX — Former Crimson Tide coach, Gene Stallings, has been named the keynote speaker at the upcoming 2014 Sam B. Hall Jr. Lecture and Banquet. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Woods and Cornish Great Rooms on the second floor of the Ornelas Student Center at East Texas Baptist University. The lecture series program commemorates the late United States Representative and federal judge Sam B. Hall, Jr., who was a Marshall native and alumnus of the College of Marshall, which is now ETBU.

  • Andrew McCutchen Hosts Annual Baseball Camp in Fort Meade

    FORT MEADE, FL. — Pittsburgh Pirates National League MVP and local hero, Andrew McCutchen, returned to his roots in Polk County to host his annual baseball camp for the third straight year. On Saturday, February 1, 2014, Fort Meade opened its heart and baseball fields to a large group of young ball players, who all wanted to learn from Fort Meade’s favorite son, Andrew McCutchen.

  • James Worthy Named Keynote Speaker at Basketball Banquet

    LEHIGH VALLEY, PA. — Former LA Lakers star and three-time NBA champion, James Worthy, has been named the keynote speaker at the 39th Annual Via All-Star Basketball Classic Banquet to be held at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Lehigh, Pennsylvania. The event takes place on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. The banquet will also honor basketball talent from 35 high schools in the greater Lehigh Valley.
