Steve Kerr has served as head coach of the Golden State Warriors since 2014 and has led the team to three NBA titles, in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Kerr was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2016. As a player, he was a five-time NBA champion, winning three straight championships with the Chicago Bulls from 1996–1998 and two with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and 2003. He shot .454 from three-point range over his career and currently holds the record as the most accurate three-point shooter in NBA history. He and Frank Saul are the only two players in NBA history to win four straight titles who weren’t part of the Boston Celtics dynasty of the 1960s.

Kerr played collegiately at the University of Arizona from 1983-1988 and, along with All-American Sean Elliott, helped the Wildcats reach the Final Four in 1988. His jersey #25 was retired by Arizona. Kerr was picked by the Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round of the 1988 NBA draft. Upon retirement, Kerr served as a television analyst for NBA games on TNT and college games on CBS and Turner Sports. He also worked in the Suns front office. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon and attended school in Lebanon and Egypt before moving to California and attending Palisades High School.
