Brad Park is a Hall of Fame defenseman who played in the National Hockey League from 1968 – 1985 for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings. He was a 9-time All-Star Game participant, 5-time first-team All-Star and 2-time second-team All-Star.

Known for his exceptional defense, Park was also an offensive scoring threat and, at the time of his retirement, had scored the most goals by a defenseman in the history of the Rangers and the second most goals behind Bobby Orr in the history of the Bruins. He was ranked by The Hockey News as the 49th best player ever on its list of the 100 Greatest Hockey Players and the 11th best player in Rangers history in the book “100 Ranger Greats”. In 1988, Park was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the first year he was eligible.

Park was born in Toronto, Canada on July 6, 1948. Prior to being drafted by the Rangers in the 1st round of the 1966 NHL Draft, Park played for the Scarboro Lions, Toronto Westclairs and Toronto Marlboros. In addition to his NHL play, Park also competed internationally for Canada. In the famous Summit Series of 1972, Park helped lead Team Canada over the Soviet Union and was named MVP for his strong play.
