Tom Brady Car Hit by Minivan in Boston Accident (VIDEO)

BOSTON, MA – New England quarterback, Tom Brady, was visibly shaken this morning when his Audi sedan was hit by an oncoming minivan in Boston’s Back Bay section. Boston Fire Department spokesman, Steve MacDonald, said the accident occurred at 6:34 a.m. at Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street.

According to Boston.com, one witness told reporters that Brady was traveling on Gloucester Street and had a green light at Commonwealth when the minivan, traveling on Commonwealth, went through a red light and the two vehicles collided hitting the side of Brady’s car.

A law enforcement official said that Brady was the driver of the sedan. The unconscious passenger in the minivan was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, police said.

Brady was able to get out and was walking around after the crash. A man was stuck in the back of the passenger van and had to be removed with the Jaws of Life, then transported to an area hospital, MacDonald said. He said the traffic was light during the time of the accident.

According to witnesses Brady appeared visably shaken. He was not hospitalized and went to team facilities at Gillette Stadium after the crash, said his team.

Neighborhood resident Bill Barron said he heard a sound like thunder and looked out his window to see the accident.

“I thought it was a college student who had taken his dad’s car and got into an accident,” he said.
