Kaepernick, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch, wowed the crowd with an 87 mile-per-hour heater, so if this football gig doesn’t work out, maybe Kaepernick will join the San Franciso Giants. Miami Heat Repeat with Back to Back NBA Titles (VIDEO)
Congratulations to coach Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat who beat the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 to win their second consecutive NBA championship. LeBron James was unstoppable last night in a must win Game 7 showdown that took place in Miami against the Spurs. James, named MVP, scored 37 points in addition to his 12 rebounds & teammate Dwayne Wade added 23 points and 10 rebounds to the total, and led the Miami Heat to a Heat repeat in one of the most exciting series that could have gone either way.

It’s official. Jason Kidd has made the transition from NBA superstar to head coach. The Brooklyn Nets franchise made the announcement on Wednesday night that they have named Jason Kidd their new head coach. Kidd’s hiring was first reported by ESPN’s Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne. A source told the media that Kidd signed a three-year contract.
