Clark Kellogg to be Honored for Contributions to Youth

INDIANA – Clark Kellogg, CBS Sports current basketball analyst and former Indiana Pacer star, will receive the Major Taylor Award on Oct. 1 2010 as part of the Circle City Classic. The award, presented in honor of Indianapolis cyclist Marshall “Major” Taylor, has been presented to African-American athletes, coaches, administrators and officials since 1987 for local and national contributions to youth.

According to CBSSports, Clark Kellogg was named the lead college basketball analyst for CBS Sports’ coverage of college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in July 2008. Kellogg has been a CBS Sports college basketball game and studio analyst for the past 18 years. This year marks his second as lead analyst, partnering with Jim Nantz.
