  • Roger Clemens Mistrial Declared by Federal Judge

    WASHINGTON – U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton just declared a mistrial in the perjury cased against former Astros pitcher Roger Clemens after prosecutors allowed jurors to see evidence deemed inadmissible by the judge.

    The mistrial was triggered when a video screen displaying comments from Congressman Elijah Cummings at a House hearing, in which Cummings seemed to indicate Clemens was lying when he denied using HGH or steroids, was left on while the lawyers had a private conversation with the judge. (more…)

    PONTE VEDRA BEACH FL – Tiger Woods has withdrawn from The Players Championship after nine holes and 42 strokes. Apparently his legs seem to be more of the problem than the scandals that have plagued him from the past.
