Zach Randolph is a former NBA forward/center who played from 2001-2019 with the Portland Trail Blazers (2001-2007), New York Knicks (2007-2008), Los Angeles Clippers (2008-2009), Memphis Grizzlies (2009-2017) and Sacramento Kings (2017-2019). Randolph played in 1,116 career games, averaging 16.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per contest. In 2009-2010, his first season in Memphis, Randolph started all 82 games for the Grizzlies, averaging a double-double of 23.6 points and 10.1 boards per game. His performance earned him his first NBA All-Star selection. The 2010-2011 season also saw Randolph earn accolades when he was selected All-NBA third team.
Randolph continued his strong play when he was once again named an All-Star with Memphis for the 2012-2013 season, thanks in large part to his double-double season-long averages of 15.4 points and 11.2 points per game. In his career, Randolph averaged a double-double for an entire season nine times, doing so consecutively from 2006-2009 and again from 2012-2015. In 2002-2003, after starting just 11 games for the Trail Blazers, the following season Randolph started 80 and averaged 20.1 points per game, winning him the NBA’s Most Improved Player honors. Randolph played college basketball at Michigan State and was a 1st round pick by Portland in the 2001 NBA Draft.
