Jeremiah Trotter is a retired NFL linebacker who played 12 seasons professionally from 1998-2009 with the Philadelphia Eagles (1998-2001, 2004-2006, 2009), Washington Redskins (2002-2003) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2007). A member of the Eagles Hall of Fame, Trotter was four times named a Pro Bowl selection with Philadelphia in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005. He was also twice named an All-Pro in 2000 and 2001. He is one of four linebackers in franchise history to be named to at least four Pro Bowls, joining Maxi Baughan, Bill Bergey and Chuck Bednarik.

Trotter had nearly identical campaigns in 1999 and 2000, recording a total of 120 tackles in both seasons. In 2001, he posted 115 tackles and a career-high 3.5 sacks along with a pair of fumble recoveries and interceptions. In 2004, Trotter helped the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1980, starting all 16 regular season games while earning his third Pro Bowl honor.

In his 12-year career, Trotter recorded 908 tackles along with 12.5 sacks, eight fumble recoveries and nine interceptions. A consensus All-American in 1997, Trotter played college football at Stephen F. Austin. The Eagles selected him in the 1988 NFL Draft in the 3rd round. After his playing days, Trotter spent time acting and became a small business owner in New Jersey.
